Exclude a profile

Gitfile can show a preview page and banner for any public GitHub or GitLab username, built only from data already public on that provider. If you don't want that for your username, ask for an exclusion here.

Requests are reviewed manually so nobody can exclude a profile that isn't theirs. After sending the form, email contacto@starhub.cl with the username and proof that it's yours (for example, a temporary change to the profile on the provider, or writing from the email address listed on that profile). We answer within 15 days. Once approved, we stop fetching and caching its data and delete what we cached.

Exclusion only applies to profiles nobody has claimed on Gitfile. We store just the provider, the username, the review status and the dates — no reason and no contact details. See our Privacy Policy.
